How did the Civil Rights Movement change between 1965 and 1968? What new challenges presented themselves after the passage of the voting rights act? Make sure you take a look at the issue of rioting in northern cities that occurred during the summers of 1965, 1966, and 1967.
What was the Poor People's March that King helped to lead in 1968? What were his goals? His strategies?
How do MLK's vision for the future compare to/contrast with the views of the Black Panther? The Black Power movement?
How does the Vietnam War have an impact on MLK's views on race and equality in America?
